S1: Call of All Nations; Indiculus
- Source: Migne, PL 51, De vocatione omnium gentium I.1 and II (archive.org, patrologiaecur51mign); Migne prints it among Prosper’s works ‘of uncertain authority’
- Text: I.1: “Quaeritur enim utrum velit Deus omnes homines salvos fieri … gratia videtur excludi; quae si meritis redditur, constat eam non donum esse, sed debitum.” II: besides “illam generalem gratiam … omnium hominum corda pulsantem”, a “vocatio specialis” is at work in the elect (OCR spelling normalized).
- Context: c. 440s (T3). Authorship disputed (usually Prosper). Grace given for merit would be debt, not gift; a general grace to all plus a special call. Bears on the grace question rather than ‘faith alone’.
- Bears on: Q2
- Status: verified (Latin, Migne OCR)
